Le Mans 24 Hours for Motorcycles
In keeping with tradition, the 33rd Le Mans 24 Hours for Motorcycles will be the first round of the FIM Endurance World Championship consisting of five races in 2010.
Seven Factory teams like Suzuki Endurance, Honda France, BMW France, Kawasaki France,GMT 94 Yamaha Motor France,Michelin Honda and Honda Elf are out to take their revenge on Yamaha Austria, which can again count on one of the winners of the 2009 World Championship, Gwen Giabbani who has resigned with YART (Yamaha Austria Racing Team). But Suzuki with SERT, winner in 2008 are back for the full championship and will stay with Dunlop. GMT94 are as well permanent for 2010 and try to make an impact with their rider trio Gregorio Lavilla, David Checa and Kenny Forray, riding on Factory Bridgestones. GSR Kawasaki (Kawa France) will attack with 2 former YART riders Oliver Four and our spare rider from 2009 Gregory Leblanc. The 3rd rider is BSB ace Julien Dacosta. Most dangerous sounds the line up of BMW France. Nobody else than Mr. Endurance Matthieu Lagrive , recordwinner in Le Mans Sebastien Gimber t and GP Rider Erwan Nigon wil push the brandnew BMW to the limits. Nevertheless will YART be the milestone at Le Mans.Completing the programme will be the first round of the 2010 Superside World Championship, and the International Classic Grand Prix (2-stroke motorbikes from the 70s/80s) plus a free concert on Saturday evening on the Bugatti circuit.
